Many of us signed up for Jeannie Giberson's Selbu Mitten class that just concluded this Saturday. For three weeks, we gathered around our work table upstairs and learned all about traditional techniques used in Norwegian knitting for centuries.Jeannie guided us patiently through basic color theory as well as the construction of our mittens. As you can see in the photo from our last class, we made some terrific progress that we are very pleased with. And Jeannie has more to share with the My Sister Knits community. She'll be offering two additional classes next month that you are going to love!On Tuesday nights May 3rd and 17th, Jeannie will be teaching a Two at a Time sock class. This technique ensures that you'll never again be stricken with the second sock syndrome. And on May 24th and the 31st she be guiding us through the complexities of color in a two session Color Intensive Workshop. Jeannie is a very experienced color-work knitter, and she will be teaching the process of stranded color-work, covering color theory, color dominance and how to manage your yarn when working with three colors at the same time.Jeannie is an award winning knitter with many years experience that she is eager to share with us. We are so lucky to have such an enthusiastic and inspiring guide to help us build our skills. We know that you are going to enjoy learning from her as much as we have, and hope that you'll be able to join one of not both of her upcoming classes. Limited space is available so you'll want to call us at 970-407-1461 to reserve your spot as soon as possible!
