Baby Juniper

Our dear friend and very talented jewelry designer Adrienne sent us a photo of her baby girl who was born on Valentine's Day.  What better way to celebrate Mothers Day, than with a new arrival? adrienne and juniperWe know that Adrienne is going to make a wonderful mama, and that darling hand-knit hat is proof.  Juniper Snow grew into her hat about 6 weeks after she was born.  Adrienne found the pattern among the FREE patterns on the Purl Bee blog, and knit it up with two colors of tosh merino light.  Tosh merino light is a 100% superwash merino wool, single-ply fingering weight yarn, and it's a favorite of ours for all things baby. These skeins include 420 yards of yarn, so Adrienne has enough leftover yarn to make several more hats of varying sizes so that baby Juniper will have a perfect fit no matter what size she grows. We've knit countless baby knits with this yarn over the years, and have a long list of project ideas that we'd love to share with you if you are looking for something to knit up for a new arrival  in your life.  Stop on by the shop and we can help you find the perfect petite project.
