We are thrilled to announce a fun partnership with Mama Said Sew that will allow us to launch our first ever camp for Fort Collins' crafty kids. This June we are offering two sessions of a summer camp that will give kids a chance to learn how to sew and knit. We will meet Monday through Friday 10am to 12pm. Monday and Tuesday will be spent learning sewing skills with Jill at Mama Said Sew; and Wednesday through Friday will have campers here at the shop with Amelia to learn how to knit. Sessions are limited to campers between the ages of 8 and 14 and small classes of just 6 will ensure exclusive fun. Two sessions will meet June 3-7 and June 24-28. $125 includes all materials, so your little camper just needs a daily snack! Call the shop to reserve your spot as they are sure to fill up quickly.
If you are feeling left out and eager to have your own crafty camp experience there is a great opportunity for you too! The Makerie Summer Series is something that you should check out.

On the first Sunday of every month this summer, the Boulder based Makerie gals will be hosting a creative day retreat at the Lyons Farmette featuring different themes, amazing teachers, exciting learning opportunities, delicious food, and really fun company. Use these days as a chance to get away from your usual routine and make some inspiring connections with other Front Range crafters that are as passionate about beautiful craft and delicious food as you are. Picking which session to attend may be difficult, but check them out as soon as you can so that you can be sure to get the best selection of classes available. They are sure to fill up quickly.
Either experience is sure to enrich your summer. We hope that the warmer weather brings some craft into your life!
