Deal of the Day: Anzula Cricket 30% off December 26th!

We at My Sister Knits want to wish you all a very happy holiday season.  We have been so inspired by all of the projects that came though our doors this month.  Wonderful gifts that were thoughtfully planned and occasionally frantically finished. We were even shown a rare few that were going to be given on the needles with a promise to finish as quickly as possible.

As we planned our Deal of the Day for this week we were thinking of you and hoping that perhaps you are ready to make a little something for yourself.  This Wednesday, December 26th, we are offering Anzula Cricket at 30% off.  This baby soft sport weight yarn is a squeezable blend of superwash merino, cashmere, and a hint of nylon for strength.  It is a luxurious treat for the those of us who knit for color because the spectrum of color that we have in the shop will make you gasp just a little.

We have some beautiful samples in the shop made with this lovely yarn.

Hudson Bay Crib Blanket by Purl Bee. Julie has knit up a few of these in a fun selection of colors.  The stripes don't have to be traditional.  One of my favorites was one dreamed up by a customer who made one for a new grand-daughter with a spectrum of pinks.

This goofy little guy is Howard by Wattsolak.  Annie Watts inspired me to make my very first little animal this fall; and I know that this little guy will be warmly welcomed into my dear friend Judy's home to greet her new baby daughter this spring.  It's amazing to me that he's machine washable.

And last but not least I wanted to share this work of art with you.  Boulder based Blogger Enchanted Mama designed Over the Rainbow for her son who asked her for a rainbow striped sweater for his birthday this fall. The pattern isn’t available because she dreamed it up as she went, but Kellen’s attention to detail is wonderful. I wanted to share this with you for the way she does the hem alone!

We hope that you'll stop in the shop this Wednesday to see what this yarn inspires you to create.  We wish you a new year filled with beautiful yarn, fun and challenging patterns, and projects that you can't wait to work on!
