Have You Discovered Woolfolk?

Woolfolk is welcoming a new addition to their family of yarns!  Join us as we celebrate on Thursday, October 6th from 1pm until 5pm!Woolfolk, named after owner Kristin Ford's Danish grandmother, is known for its yarns that are soft as down.  Kristin found sheep in Patagonia with wool that feels like cashmere!  This wool also has a structure that allows it to shine and absorb dye in a way that results in deep, saturated colors.Due to its chainette construction, worsted weight Far is so soft and light that you feel it just might float away if you don't hang onto it!far-skeins-rtpFingering weight Tynd and Sno are tightly twisted and velvety soft.  Tynd is a solid color while Sno is marled, meaning plies of two different colors are spun together.tynd-skeins-rtp sno-skeins-rtpThursday afternoon we have a special event planned to unveil the newest member of the family!  You can expect a specially constructed yarn,  patterns designed specifically for this new yarn, a party atmosphere and give-aways!Come into the shop to try on our samples; you'll want to cast on one of your own right away!l
