We heart Shibui (part two)

And the fun continues!  There are two special accessories that are a part of the Shibui Trunk Show we are featuring in the shop this week that we thought deserved to be highlighted separately. It seems as though the Shibui designers have fallen in love with chevron patterns, just like we have!Mix No. 26 is a stunning chevron pattern scarf designed by Shellie Anderson and created with two strands of Shibui Pebble held together throughout. MIx 26 01 mix 26 03"Traditional herringbone gets an update, taking on new depth when worked in Pebble. Cashmere, recycled silk, and fine merino create a lightweight fabric with a slight sheen and delicate hand. Ribbed ends and garter edges highlight the color choices and prevent curling."Our favorite pattern in this new Mix Collection is No. 29 designed by Jenny Faifel.  This wonderful cowl features Shibui Pebble and Shiui Cima held together for a very special fabric with drape and cuddly softness. mix 29 01mix 29 02         "Dynamic mitered chevrons in a melange of colors create movement in this chic cowl. Tweedy Pebble facilitates visual texture when contrasted with the smooth super baby alpaca halo of Cima. Knit as a single piece and joined end to end, the possibilities for variation are infinite."All of the samples in this new trunk show from Shibui are stunning.  We've loved having them here in the shop, and hope that you've had a chance to visit them.  We have more Shibui samples and yarn combinations to share with you.  So stop by when you can, we are looking forward to seeing you.
