Dawn's farmer, baker, hair stylist and tennis coach are all having babies right now, so she was excited when she saw this simple and elegant pattern on Ravelry: Metric designed by Danna Brennfoerder.Because of its simplicity, she knew a beautiful hand dyed yarn would be the perfect match.  Dawn used five skeins of Madelinetosh Merino DK in the color Gossamer, which is a lovely neutral for either gender.The rest of us at the shop all covet it as a lap blanket for our favorite comfy chairs.Sometimes the simplest of patterns combined with a beautiful yarn can bring the most rewarding results.  Simple sophistication makes for such a beautiful and thoughtful gift.Dawn's blanket will be featured in the shop so that you can take a look at it for yourself.  We hope to see you soon!
