Chilly temperatures have us tempted to linger over warm cups of coffee and cast on for larger projects that will while away the hours of our long dark winter's evenings. It also has us eager to expand our skills so that we can tackle new more complex patterns. With this in mind, we added some terrific additions to our February and March class schedule. We hope that you'll take a look at our offerings and see if any of the listings look like fun.In February we'll host two FREE Learn to Knit Classes! Robin will lead a group that meets on Saturday mornings, and Kelly will teach on Tuesday evenings so that your busy schedule doesn't need to keep you from starting a new hobby that we know you're going to love. You've told us that the magic loop is a technique you wanted to master in 2016 so we have two classes to help you learn. Karen will be leading a magic loop sock class on Saturday mornings and and later in the month, a two session mitten class on Tuesday nights. We have two terrific beginner crochet classes for those of you eager to expend your skills past your needles. And towards the end of February, Jessica will be leading a class that covers the slipped stitch technique used in the Mosaic Blanket. In late March, Amelia will be helping knitters who are comfortable knitting in the English style (who throw their stitches) to learn how to pick their stitches in the Continental fashion. All that is just the beginning! There is more to be found in our class schedule, so we hope that you'll browse through it and see if there is something on your crafting "bucket list". We'd be thrilled to help you master something new this winter.
