A new teacher is joining the team at My Sister Knits to share her passion for all things crochet!  Dana is offering two beginning crochet classes that you will want to join.

Granny Bag

Basic Granny Square Becomes a fabulous bagWhen: 2/27 and 3/12 9 - 11 amCost: $45 (excluding yarn and materials)Granny squares are a crochet powerhouse. New crocheters are often curious about how to make these lovely squares. Students will learn how to combine the basic stitches (chain, single crochet, double crochet) into a fabulous bag. Students will also learn tricks for weaving in ends, various techniques for joining squares, and a quick and seamless way to add handles to complete a Granny Bag.This project requires four skeins of yarn (any gauge from light to bulky) and a corresponding crochet hook.  Pictured above: Toft Aran in Cream, Charcoal, Steel, Stone with J/10/6.00mm hook.

Chevron Cowl
Cost: $25 (excluding yarn and materials)The chevron pattern is a classic crochet technique that has grown in popularity. Beginners and those needing a refresher on crochet will learn basic crochet skills like the chain and single crochet.
