We received an email this week that has made more eager than ever to share photos of our current Manos del Uruguay trunk show with you. Our friend Bonnie reminded us that our community is much larger than our little shop."Just a quick note to let you know I love your blog and all of the pictures you post of samples from your shop. I live in Minnesota and have never visited your shop, but hope to some day as my daughter is in her freshman year at CSU ... Someday I will visit in person, but for now I really appreciate every photo and post you put out there. Thanks!"In honor of Bonnie, as well as any of you who won't be able to join us before the month's end, we'd like to show you some more pictures! This is the Chopin Tunic. It was created by the design team of Fairmount Fibers, the main distributor of Manos yarns in the US. Our 36" sample was created with 7 skeins of Serena. It is modeled with a beautiful version of the Signs of Spring Cowl. This FREE pattern was designed by Lisa R. Myers and calls for 2 skeins for a finished measurement of 44" x 8". We also have a beautiful example of the Albright Vest designed by Luciana Lopez. This would surely brighten any day made dull by Spring showers.A big thank you to our friends at Manos del Uruquay for providing us with these beautiful samples. And another thank you to Bonnie. We are lucky to be able to have friends like you, and we can't wait to meet you when you come to visit Fort Collins.
