New samples

We've recently received several new samples in the shop that are inspiring many of our visitors to cast on.  Julie Conway found a darling cardigan among the pages of Debbie Bliss' Design it, Knit it: Babies book.shawl-collar-04This collection of 19 patterns includes the Shawl-Collar Jacket that Julie knit up for the shop.  Julie knit hers up with three sport weight yarns from her stash including Swans Island, Sunshine Yarns and a touch of Lux Adorna cashmere.  And the results are terrific!shawl-collar-01The Roo-Loop Cowl designed by Lisa Hannes has been knit up with seven skeins of Quince & Co. Osprey on a US 9.  This cozy accessory can keep both your hands and neck warm with a pocket that is tucked into its folds!roo-loop-01On the lighter side, is a beautiful lace shawl: Gwendolyn designed by Stefanie Bold.  Our friend Debbie knit up this masterpiece with Shibui Cima in the Imperial color.  Her tip to other knitters interested in creating one of their own is that a liberal use of stitch markers is essential!Gwendolyn-01And there is more!  We hope that you'll have a chance to visit the shop in the next few weeks while it is brimming with these beautiful project ideas.
