New tricks

I have found that sometimes learning a new skill can make all the difference in the world for some projects.  This week, I tried Jane Richmond's "magic knot" for the first time and now have a new join that will come in handy by saving me many, many ends to weave in.  I love it! needle-potI prefer to learn new things in a class.  As much as I have learned from quick reviews of YouTube instructional videos; and the terrific workshops available on Craftsy.com and Creativebug.com; I love the luxury of having a teacher right over my shoulder making sure that I'm on track as I go.And this week, we have posted some great new classes that we think you'll love.  Before our group knitting classes wrap things up for the season, (we'll be offering private tutorials through the summer months of June - August) we thought you may want to sign up for some of the great workshops and skills clinics that we'll be offering in April and May.Check out our class offerings on our website, and give us a call at the shop to get signed up or to ask us any questions you may have about participating.  We'd love to have you join us at the craft tables in the shop to pick up a few new tricks before summertime.
