We still love stripes!

Julie has just received a new yarn in that she thinks she's in love with.  We'd like to introduce you to Scrumptiouspurl's Stripe Me Up.

Everything about these bright beautiful balls of yarn is fun, from the hand written tags, the stitch marker with each ball, and the great names.  These self striping fingering weight skeins contain 400 yards of a deliciously soft blend of 80% fine Merino and 20% Nylon for strength.

Julie cast on without delay for a pair of socks and Robin is knitting a infinity scarf as we speak.

Kristin is using the skeins pictured above for a cowl of her own.  She cast on 96 stitches with a provisional cast on and is knitting in the round on a size US5 16" circular needle. She intends to use both colorways and will end up with something similar to our shop favorite: Rayures.  And best of all, the yarn makes the stripes on its own!Scrumptiouspurl's yarn designer Samantha provided us with a couple of terrific pattern suggestions for her beautiful yarn.

"I really love this pattern for hats! The stripes knit up to about 2 rows. Another big favorite is mittens!  This pattern is a perfect one for someone who is knitting their first pair."

We already have another order placed because we are certain this yarn will be a HUGE hit.  It will probably be about 8 weeks before our next order arrives, and you won't want to wait that long to start playing. So stop on by this week and pick out your favorite color today!
