Thinking about Spring

If you are a Facebook Friend of ours, than you've seen some of the new yarns that have arrived in the shop over the past week or so. To ensure that nobody misses out on the news, we thought we'd share some of those updates with you here.Juniper Moon Farm Yarns are making their debut in the shop this week. We are now stocking two of their yarns.  Moonshine is a worsted weight blend of 40% wool, 40% alpaca and 20% silk;  with 197 yards per skein. moonshineTheresa can't wait to knit with this! She has plans to make herself a new spring hat!  The Raverly pattern recommendations for Moonshine may offer you some inspiration. It has been beautifully knit up into all kinds of items from accessories to sweaters. zooeyWe also received Zooey from Juniper Moon Farm Yarns.  This DK weight blend of 60% linen and 40% cotton has a slight thick-and-thin texture and it’s machine washable. We think that it will be a great choice for fabulous spring and summer tops. Our recent stretch of warm weather has us ready to cast on with lighter weight yarns and these new skeins are perfect!  They will create a comfortable breathable fabric with flattering structure that will keep your stitches and finished top looking crisp and fresh.  ella raeTo round out our selection of new yarns is a brilliant spectrum of skeins of Ella Rae Lace Merino.  These bright and bold skeins have 460 yards of fingering weight 100% extra fine superwash merino in 24 colors!  This dazzling display that Kimberly created for us has us dreaming of shawls!  Ravelry's selection of pattern suggestions with this yarn offers a mouthwatering choice of over a hundred options.
We're like kids with a new box of crayons. We can't wait to play!
