Yarn Fest

We are nearing the end of March and that means that Interweave Yarn Fest is almost here! For the past several years we have been lucky enough to have this major yarn festival right here in northern Colorado!  Yarn Fest takes place the last weekend of March at The Embassy Suites in Loveland, Colorado.  This year the dates are Thursday, March 28th through Sunday, March 31st.Yarn Fest is a gathering of all things fiber related.  All sorts of classes in crochet, knitting, spinning, weaving, and even designing are offered.  There are places to sit and work on your current project.  There's a dinner Friday night with a speaker and a fashion show Saturday night.  Our very own Jeannie Giberson will have an exhibit of Latvian mittens at the fashion show! There is also a Marketplace!  For Marketplace admission information click here. The variety of vendors at the Marketplace is marvelous!  This is a feast for your eyes with fibery beauty everywhere you look.  The Marketplace is open Thursday through Saturday from 10am until 6pm.This is the third year that My Sister Knits will have a booth!  It is so much fun to be part of the Yarn Fest excitement that we can hardly wait!  We love meeting people who stop by our booth and the atmosphere is electric. We have been scurrying about the shop gathering special items to take and planning our displays.  We'll have.....
