CROCHET MONSTER (October)
CROCHET MONSTER (October)
Saturdays, October 12 & 26
This class meets for 2 sessions
Let’s crochet a monster! This little amigurumi monster is a perfect introduction to crochet stuffed toys. It uses only a few basic crochet stitches with increases and decreases — which is the basis of all crochet amigurumi. After taking this class you’ll have the foundation needed to make many more stuffed toys. This class will be great for those who have taken a beginner class and want to practice and learn a few new skills!
Skills used: MR - Magic Ring, ch – Chain Stitch, sc - Single Crochet, dc – Double Crochet, inc – Increase, invdec - Invisible Decrease, BLO - crochet into back loops only
Pattern - Linked here https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/pocket-monster-zombie, also available at MSK
— 3-4 colors of sport (or light weight worsted) yarn (I used Northern Light Fibers, worsted, 100% Falkland Island’s Wool)
— E 3.5mm hook (This is NOT what the pattern calls for but this is what I used with the yarn and will work with sport or worsted yarn)
— Stuffing, safety eyes will be provided
— scissors and darning needles
Class meets for two sessions.
