Fresh off (and on) the needles

Many of us have grabbed a skein or two of the new Swans Island Yarn that recently arrived in the shop.  We are all eager to see how it knits up and let you know what we think! Kristin just knit these darling Brooke Mitts with two skeins of Swans Island All American Collection yarn and size US #7 needles.  After weighing this pair, we believe you can make three pair from two skeins.  There is also a coordinating cowl named the Brooke Cowl.We sent Kate a skein and she has plans for a Churchmouse Yarn & Teas' Boyfriend Watch Cap. Dawn has cast on for the Hearth Slippers designed by Diana Walla.  She is using three colors of the Swans Island All American and size US 5 & 7 needles.  The colors are so much fun to play with, she's getting a little stuck on which way to use her colors; so she may have coordinating but different slippers.This yarn's blend of wool and alpaca make it a delicious choice for cuddly soft and warm accessories.  You'll find it springy to the touch and a true pleasure to work with.As you can see, we have virtually the entire line in stock so there are plenty of luscious colors for you to choose from. We hope that you can visit us soon and see for yourself!
