Dawn and I have both made deliciously soft accessories with this yarn. I finished the Churchmouse Welted Fingerless Gloves a couple of weeks ago. And last season Dawn made a ruffle-less version of the Little Ruffle scarf. You need to come in to feel how deliciously soft it is. It is the perfect neutral color and the kind of scarf you would find yourself reaching for every time you felt a little nip in the air.
Surfing around on Ravelry, I found some fun project ideas that would be fun to work up in this yarn. And at just about $10 a skein with this week’s discount, you may find yourself looking for projects to add to your queue.
Kim Hargreaves – Leaf I love the classic lines of Kim's designs and this is no exception.
Elizabeth Jarvis – Baby Kimono This is a free Rav download and a perfect tiny heirloom that will knit up in a flash.
Leslie Friend – Toast These babies were knit up with two colors and used close to a skein each. katetheyogi has created a verion of this design that looks a bit like what Eileen Fisher has created with her stripey merino glovelette.
Don't you love it when you can make something yourself in just the perfect colors and save close to $50 in the process?!
