Biches et Buches Trunk Show!

Biches et Buches, the yarn that comes to us from Scotland via France, has sent us a trunk show!  We have five of their items plus one of ours knit in their le gros lambswool. This is an aran weight yarn of 100% lambswool.  The suggested needle size is 7 so you know this will knit up quickly!

Trunk shows are a golden opportunity to see several items created with the same yarn.  You can feel, examine, and try on everything to see how you like them. You can see how the yarn drapes in a shawl or keeps it shape in a sweater.  You can tell how using different sized needles makes a difference in the final fabric of the pieces. Trunk shows allow the finished products to be compared side by side which is tremendously helpful!

The trunk show from this small, family-owned company includes a shawl collared cardigan, two cozy textured rectangular wraps, an oversized colorwork pullover, and a cardigan that is more like a jacket with a loose fit and pockets on the front.

These garments give knitters an excellent idea of how le gros lambswool knits up!
