Thread and Maple Accessories Have Arrived!

Our Thread and Maple shipment has finally arrived and we are thrilled with their products!  We have found out first hand that, as we wrote about in February, they are at once darling and useful!

Some will add a stylish touch to your knitting area and some will add a trendy touch to your project bag!  It was one thing to see these useful items in photos and quite another to be able to see and feel them in person. We are so impressed!

Thread and Maple is a two-woman company based in Montreal/Toronto.  We are one of only three shops in the USA to carry their products.

When you feel the high quality of the leather and see how much thought went into designing these pieces you’ll want them all!  They have marvelous little details such as magnets in all the right places and little zipper pockets to hold stitch markers or any small tool you want to keep handy. There are also pockets for scissors, tape measures, and darning needles.

Their darling credit card-sized On the Go notions fold has pockets with mini scissors, darning needles, and a zippered pocket with stitch markers.  Of course there’s a magnet closure that will also hold your stitch markers when it’s open!

You’ll have so much fun with the wooden Birdhouse Box!  The slanted roof is magnetized and will keep your metal notions at the ready.  Inside are two slots to hold yarn for your 1 or 2 skein project, your pattern, and whatever other items you want close-by but out of sight when you aren’t knitting.

The innovative wooden phone stand will not only hold your phone but it has a magnetized bowl to hold your darning needles or stitch markers.  It is so much easier to pick up tiny items from a bowl like this than from a table!  Plus, it keeps them safely corralled and in place.  We suggest you make sure your phone fits in the slot before you purchase one of these. Most phones will fit but ones with extra-sturdy cases might not.

There are also cork cases for scissors, tape measures, darning needles, and cable needles. The cork is sustainable, particularly lightweight, and flexible. We also have two styles of cork bags.  One is a small backpack-shaped bag perfectly sized to hold a 4 skein project with pockets for your phone and wallet. The other is a rounded bag that can be held by the strap and holds a 5 skein project, also with interior pockets.

We invite you into the shop to see these lovely, beautifully made products! We also have Thread and Maple covered baskets and more accessory cases.

Happy knitting,

Jenny
