Sometimes a second glance at a pattern can make all the difference. Projects that at first glance look all wrong can sometimes become more appealing a few hours, days, or even months later. Our tastes change, our skills improve and suddenly what seemed impossible is now something to cast on for without delay! This darling little sample featured last week on our Facebook page is Snowflake designed by tincanknits and created with Madelinetosh Merino DK (we incorrectly identified it as being knit up with tosh light -- oops).A day or so later, an email arrived in our inbox from the designer and we took a second look at the Great White North collection that includes this pattern. It has gathered 11 patterns that are all wonderfully knitworthy. There are sweaters sized from infants to adults, socks, mittens, hats and a few holiday ornaments that are just beautiful! We encourage you to take a peak at the collection on Ravelry. Stop into the shop and check out our wee Snowflake sweater. You may find that any of these are projects could be one that you'd like to get started this holiday season.
