My Sister Knits at Interweave Yarn Fest!

 The Interweave Yarn Fest is fast approaching!  With it right in our backyard, at the Embassy Suites in Loveland, those of us who live in northern Colorado have the perfect opportunity to take full advantage of it right from our own homes!    Marketplace hours are 10 - 6 Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.My Sister Knits has a booth in the Marketplace and we are as busy as Santa's elves gathering special items to showcase!We'll feature Shibui yarns, including their new merino/silk blend Lunar, and their latest patterns.  When you purchase any Shibui yarn, you'll also receive a free pattern!We'll have kits available; precious local alpaca/wool blend yarn from alpacas in Walden, CO; a selection of local Yarn Baby yarns, hand dyed by owner Shannon Player-Timmons; project bags by local artist Angela Gray; and a collection of our favorite notions and accessories that you won't want to miss!We invite you to visit our booth and say hi!  Mention that you read this blog post and you'll get a special gift!If you've never been to a yarn/fiber festival, you may be wondering why so many knitters/crocheters/spinners/weavers are so enthusiastic about them.  It's something that must be experienced to be fully appreciated!In addition to the marketplace where you can meet and talk to the people who create yarns, tools, accessories, and notions, there are classes galore with nationally and internationally known teachers.  There are also continuous demonstrations throughout the day.There is an atmosphere of fun and excitement that permeates the entire area; make your plans to attend this special event!
